Another Saturday, another loss for the Hoosiers. This time, however, it was a thrashing defeat courtesy of Iowa. Now, it's safe to say all postseason hopes are gone. Bill Lynch's squad still has a rigorous schedule ahead, and if his team can't contend with Iowa, the next few contests will be slaughters.

Now, it's safe to admit the season is over. So what do the Hoosiers play for? Well- most importantly, the cream and crimson need to compete for the respect of the game. No, they won't finish in the top half of the Big 10, but they need to play for pride.

For you fans out there, I know that is uneasy to swallow. Some of you live, dream and breathe IU athletics. I understand it's tough. I know the expectations were high this season; especially, after a bowl game appearance in 2007. But- It's going to take time to rebuild this program.

If you were head of football administration, what would you do to bring back football to Bloomington?
