Hey guys, welcome to Memorial Stadium on a flawless Saturday evening. I will be live-blogging the game tonight and wanted to update you all on one of the pressing issues entering this game.
I spoke to Jeff Keag, the sports information director for IU football, about whether or not junior safety Austin Thomas will play tonight. He told me that it is still a game-time decision and it will be announced in the press box shortly. If Thomas cannot go, IU coach Bill Lynch said senior Joe Kleinsmith will occupy his position, rather than go with sophomore Jerimy Finch. Finch, however, should get some adequate playing time today, Lynch added.
