Hey folks,
Gonna keep this short and sweet. First off, many apologies for not having a column until late in the week. I know you all missed my ponderings on pickles and such.
I had the chance to sit down with Dan Dakich over gyros today at Trojan Horse and pick his brain on a wide, wide range of subjects. About 750 words made it into the paper today, and that sadly meant a whole truckload of really good quotes didn't make the cut for the column.
I therefore present it to you, unaltered and purely transcribed, in a series of posts to follow this one -- there's literally too much for me to ever be able to get you to read it all in one post. I'll have the first one up tonight, and other to follow in the days to come, etc. Why not all at once, you ask? Because, I tease. Anything to keep y'all coming back.
So without further ado, what's mine is yours.
One more note: A birthday shoutout to the Basketblog's finest, Jordan Cohen, who celebrated the big 2-1 tonight. He is presumably lost somewhere south of Bloomington, rambling on into the corn-filled night. Godspeed, Jordan.
