ESPN is reporting that the University will not request a second meeting in front of the NCAA Committee on Infractions for infractions committed by former coach Kelvin Sampson and his staff.

IU had a hearing in mid-June to respond to five major allegations and had expected a final ruling by August. However, weeks after the hearing, the NCAA issued a sixth allegation for "failure to monitor". Because of the additional allegation, the University had to respond to the NCAA in writing or by requesting another hearing.
