Tom Crean relased a statement through IU media relations about his contract. It does not say much, but here it is:
"As soon as the long form contract is finished it will be released. To date, I am comfortable with the progress that is being made with finalizing the details of my contract and look forward to its completion."

The Indy Star is reporting that IU coach Tom Crean and the University have agreed to a two-year extention which will keep the coach in Bloomington until the 2017-2018 season.
Crean initially agreed to an eight year contract worth $18.24 million. Terms of the extension have not been made avaliable. We are working on confirming this story and we'll update the basketblog once we find out more.
