IU director of media relations J.D. Campbell told the IDS this morning that sophomore guard Armon Bassett and Jamarcus Ellis have been officially let go from the team. Campbell did not give a reason for the dismissal.
There have been rumors swirling around that the two players believe they have a chance to return to the squad when a new coach is named. Campbell said he had no idea and to wait until a new coach is named to ask that question.
