UPDATE: In the following segment, former IU guard A.J. Ratliff, who is a basketball analyst for WTHR, said he believed the reports were premature. The players are going to meet with the coaching staff tomorrow and nothing should be certain until a new coach is named.
Ratliff said he has heard IU is interested in Mike Montgomery, former coach of Stanford and the Golden State Warriors. Ratliff, who left the team mid-season, said he would like to see former IU legend Steve Alford get the job. ---
According to WTHR, sophomore guard Armon Bassett and junior guard/forward Jamarcus Ellis will not return to the team next season. We will give any updates as we receive them.
