Rich Nye of Channel 13 in Indianapolis citing a source close to the situation, said that the IU administration has contacted assistant coach Dan Dakich about taking over for the remainder of the season.
The report also said that the University and Sampson are working on a settlement that will likely be finalized by Friday afternoon.
