It has been a dramatic and intense day at Assembly Hall -- and IU's pivotal game against Wisconsin hasn't even started yet. Yes, my friends, basketball has come to save us from NCAA reports and dense Greenspan responses. Take a break from reading in-between the lines of fine print.

A win today would help the Hoosiers keep pace with the first place Boilermakers. A loss would put Wisconsin in second, a half game ahead of IU. The Hoosiers struggled in the first half against the Badgers last time around, but made a decent combat in the second half. IU seems to have matured a bit since them. They showed some heart in a win at Illinois, and their zone defense looked much improved at Ohio State. It's a whole new ballgame.

Tip-off in five minutes...
