MN misses a wide open three and IU comes down with the rebound. Stemler hits both free throws to ice the game. Clutch shooting from the senior down the stretch. IU wins 65-60.

While IU played poorly, having a ton of turnovers, that was the most entertaining game of the season to date. Agree? Minnesota put up a tough fight and could have easily won the game had a ball bounced here or there. It's easy to see now why there is a lot of excitement surrounding this program with Tubby Smith as coach.

Is it fitting Eric committed turnover No. 23 on the evening?

With Gordon seeing limited action due to his three fouls and DJ sitting out for the last 5 minutes, I am sure Sampson would take an 8 point lead any day.

IU is not taking its time on the offensive side of the ball with its two best scorers on the bench. Minnesota is killing themselves by missing free-throws, but are chipping away at IU's lead, which is down to 6.

Welcome to the Barn: this will be without a doubt the most intense crowd atmosphere IU has faced this season. These fans want this game badly - I saw a kid getting interviewed by local television talking about how the whole campus is charged for this game. He was wearing a gopher suit, so you have to take everything he says to heart.
