IU moved from 9th to 7th in the most recent AP poll, passing UCLA and Georgetown, who lost to USC and Pitt, respectively.

IU also made the move from 10th to 8th this week in the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll. The Hoosiers were helped from losses by Texas A&M and Georgetown.

IU and UCLA are flip-flopped in the two polls, with the Hoosiers holding the No. 7 ranking in the AP poll and UCLA having the No. 7 ranking in the coaches poll.

In both polls, there is a new No. 1 in Memphis as UNC lost to Maryland over the weekend. Kansas is a close No. 2, boasting an 18-0 record. Wisconsin made a big jump to 11th in both polls and Michigan State moved to 10th. This means there is a possibility that the IU-Wisconsin match-up on the 31st could be a Top-10 showdown.

Thoughts about the big shake up in the polls this week?
