One of the downfalls of sleeping in until 10:30 is that I missed out on reading the early morning news. Today, that was a bad thing for me as the Indy Star's Mark Alesia reported the names of players involved in three-way calls with IU coach Kelvin Sampson. Here is a rundown of the players:

IU Junior DeAndre Thomas: Sampson had said before that none of the people in the report were current players. Obviously, he was mistaken or lied.

IU Signee Devin Ebanks: The No. 13 ranked player in the class of 2008 is the crown jewel of Sampson's incoming recruting class. As Dickie V would say, Ebanks is a PTP'r. Will he ever come to IU? That's the question on every Hoosier fan's mind.

There were other players named, but none that are current IU players or signees.
