Hey guys, here are some post game notes from the Bucket game that may or not may not make copy for the Monday edition of the IDS. Hope you enjoy.

- This is the first time the Hoosiers have won the Bucket since 2001, when the IU won 13-7 in Bloomington - The crowd of 50,741 was the first IU sellout since 2005, when IU played Ohio State, and the first time the Bucket game sold out since 1989. - Greg Middleton's 2.5 sacks for IU gives him a school season record of 16 sacks. He broke the record of 14, set in 1987 by Van Waiters. On a side note, I wasn't even six months old when that record was set. Kudos to Middleton. - Austin Starr tied a career-long with his game-winning 49-yard field goal. His 19 field goals on the year are a single-season record for the Hoosiers, as he broke Pete Stoyanovich's record of 17, set in 1988. He also tied Stoyanovich's record of 45 extra points in a season. - James Hardy extended his single-season record of touchdown receptions to 16. His 16 touchdowns tie him with Taylor Stubblefield (Purdue, 2004) for most touchdowns in the Big Ten in a season. Hardy is also the fourth receiver in IU history to gain 1,000 yards in a season. His 67th catch on the year broke Ernie Jones' single-season record for most receptions in a year, and he ended the game with 74 receptions on the season. He is now second on the IU receiving list with 1,075 yards after the Purdue game. - Marcus Thigpen had a career high 140 yards rushing against Purdue. - Kellen Lewis set an IU record in passing yards for a season with 2,839 yards. He passed for 216 yards against Purdue, threw for a touchdown and ran in for two more. - IU's 95-yard drive in the first quarter was the longest drive of the year for the Hoosiers. - Finally, kudos to Blake Powers. After losing his starting job to Kellen Lewis in the Ball State game last year, Powers came in for one play, and boy was it a big one. Powers ran the quarterback sneak that eventually led to an IU touchdown.
