Has anyone actually watched a second of Minnesota football this year? I haven't. I probably shouldn't be saying this, but to be honest before Monday I couldn't have told you one player on their team.
If Adam Weber (their 'star' quarterback) was at Nick's sitting next to me, I wouldn't recognize him. Has anyone watched them play?
Because i'll be honest, looking at their numbers and their offensive style, it doesn't look like a good matchup for the boys in cream and crimson.
They supposedly have some good wide recievers, two good running backs and a rock solid quarterback. This game might be a shoot out. The closest team that they resemble that the Hoosiers have seen thus far this year is (gulp) University of Illinois. Not to mention recent history has shown the Gophers have IU's number.
But again, I have not seen a second of Minnesota football. I watched Caddyshack last night though, and if these Gophers are as tough to defeat as the Gopher in Caddyshack, IU could be in trouble.
Has anyone watched the 2007 Gophers this year? If so, what are your thoughts?
