Everyone who watched Saturday's game would agree that the Hoosiers need to play better against Iowa to obtain their fourth victory of the season.

The question Bill Lynch and his staff are asking is how do the Hoosiers need to change? What do they need to do differently in order to be more competitive?

Common knowledge would scream the Hoosiers simply cannot turn the ball as frequently if they want to win. Four turnovers is simply too many.

Offensively, do you think the Kellen Lewis and the Hoosiers play better out of a five wide receiver set or in a traditional formation? Do you think the Hoosiers need to run the ball more or keep throwing (51 attempts on Saturday)?

On defense, where are the Hoosiers lacking? Is the secondary giving up too many big plays or are the Hoosiers not strong up front? Is there something astray play-calling wise?

I'm just throwing out some suggestions. If you asked me I'd tell you the Hoosiers need to be more creative in their play-calling. I can almost predict when Ray Fisher and Marcus Thigpen are going to touch the ball. Working Andrew Means into the rotation seemed to help at times Saturday, but not going to Hardy often seemed counterproductive. It didn't look like Illinois was scheming specifically against No. 82.

Anyways, if you agree or disagree with anything I've said feel free to post. I'm guessing there are several theories to why IU lost Saturday.
