With just 16 days until the start of practice, there are reports that several high-profile recruits will be at Assembly Hall Oct. 12 for Hoosier Hysteria.

2008 target Kevin Jones will make his official visit to Bloomington. The 6ft 7in forward from Mount Vernon, NY is ranked 79th in the class of 2008 by recruiting service www.rivals.com. Jones' final list of schools is still quite long, with notable schools Ohio State, St. Johns and Kansas battling with IU for Jones.

There are a couple of elite prospects from the class of 2009 coming to Hoosier Hysteria. Lance Stephenson will make an unofficial visit according to Adam Zagoria of the Herald News in Patterson, NJ. Rivals has Stephenson ranked No. 4 in the class of 2008. In addition, New Jersey native and No. 18 ranked player in 2009, Dexter Strickland is rumored to be visiting Bloomington as well.

Having three top prospects from the east coast bodes well for the Hoosiers on the recruiting front. New York continues to produce top basketball players who any coach would love to have on their team. It looks that the verbal commitment from Devin Ebanks could pay dividends in the years to come.
