So much for drama. Cutters won their third consecutive series event by squeaking past Dodd's House in the men's final. With Sasha Land's ITT victory, Alex Bishop's Miss-n-Out win and tonight's Team Pursuit title, the Cutters ran away with the spring series. For the second consecutive year, they will wear white on race day.

UPDATE, 10:02 p.m.
A source close to the situation has confirmed to the IDS that the women of Kappa Alpha Theta have won team pursuit and captured the white jersey. Theta narrowly beat Alpha Gamma Delta to clinch the spring series championship.

The event might still be going on, but at least I can fill you in from the track the press box the IDS newsroom. Chris is out at the track, but I'm stuck at the day job.
The finals are essentially set with Dodds House and Cutters earning the top two times for the men. With their at-worst 2nd place finish, Cutters secured the spring series championship and earned the white jersey for race day.
For the women, Teter is currently sitting 5th, and Alpha Gamma Delta and Kappa Alpha Theta earned spots in the finals. Teter's finish opens the door for either AGD or Theta to capture the white jersey. Whichever team wins the finals, wins the white jersey. If you can bear the cold, it might be worth heading out to the track tonight. Women's finals start at 9:48 and the men start at 10 p.m.
