Interesting activity on Pedals and Spokes today.
Former Acacia and Kappa Alpha Theta coach (and multiple Little 500 champion coach) Tom Schwoegler might be joining the coaching crew for Team Major Taylor. The addition of Schwoegler to the TMT crew would create one of the most dynamic coaching staffs in the race (and perhaps the type of publicity Curt Simic and IUSF officials were trying to avoid with their student coaching initiative).
We'll see if this materializes.

UPDATE: Schwoegler declines to assist with TMT, saying that coaching by committee is too difficult. He said he wants the focus to be on the riders and not the guys in the pits. For those keeping score, though, a Bishop-Schwoegler coaching staff will only exist in Yahoo's Fantasy Little 500. (They would likely be top draft picks).
