I wanted to post quickly to, first of all, welcome you back to the Basketblog after a long holiday-related hiatus, and second, get your blood flowing on the big game at Cameron Indoor Stadium tomorrow night. Are you ready yet? I know a group of seniors planning on - get this - buying tickets for the game on EBay tonight and driving down tomorrow morning. Most of you probably aren't THAT excited, but you're ready to go nonetheless.
So what do you think? Think the Hoosiers can pull it off? Or will they come back victims of a Duke team seeking payback for its loss to Marquette, victims of one of the few student sections in the country with a legitimate impact on the game?
Feel free to read up at IDSnews.com for a brief history on the series, for columnist Ryan Corazza's Monday take, check the IDS front page tomorrow for a full preview, and be sure to peruse the 2007 basketball guide, which we'll discuss in greater detail here tomorrow.
Also, heads up for columnist Ryan Corazza's live blog during the game tomorrow night; he'll be updating on the game from Bloomington (as well as fielding your comments) while Matt Mattucci and I report live from Durham. Yes, the IDS is sending us. Yes, it's currently 11:05 p.m., and we're leaving for the airport in about 6 hours. (That's 5 a.m. for you SPEA majors.) No, I'm not complaining - but come on, that is early.
So, like I said, leave your predictions in the comments, and keep that head on a swivel: we'll be updating throughout Gameday as we explore Durham, Krzyzewskiville, Cameron Indoor Stadium and IU's big away game. See you then.
