IU had already secured what many scouts considered a top-10 recruiting class for next season. And it just got bigger. Reports are coming through the 6-foot-4 guard Jordan Crawford signed his letter of intent for Sampson and the Hoosiers for 2007. This was the guy that Sampson had apparently been coveting from the get-go, and once again, he got his guy.

Sampson didn't stop with Crawford though. He also received a verbal commitment from 6-foot-4 shooting guard and Fort Wayne native Eshaunte Jones, who will attend a prep school next season and join the Hoosiers in 2008. Jones is considered a four-star recruit according to Rivals.com and could make an immediate impact on a possibly Eric Gordon-less IU squad in 2008. (If Gordon goes pro after one year.)

Stayed tuned to the IDS for more coverage of coach Sampson's ever-changing recruiting classes.

(Update: Crawford has officially signed with IU. Read about it here.)
