The following is a press release written by Desiree DeMolina for the City of Bloomington.
The City of Bloomington is inviting residents to help select names for two new lanes planned for Hopewell South, the first phase of the City-led redevelopment at the former Bloomington Hospital site. The City received more than 130 name suggestions from residents between Sept. 10 and Sept. 15. City staff reviewed the submissions for eligibility and narrowed the entries to five finalists:
- W. Fellowship Lane
- W. Heartwell Lane
- W. Perseverance Lane
- W. Possibility Lane
- W. Welcome Lane
Residents may vote for their preferred names through Sunday, Sept. 20, using the online voting form. Results from the public vote will help determine the names used for the two new Hopewell South lanes.
Site preparation and infrastructure work are continuing as Hopewell South moves toward its next stage of development.
