The following press release was written for Usama Siddiquee's headlining stand up set at The Comedy Attic.
Renowned America's Got Talent star, Usama Siddiquee, is coming back to The Comedy Attic for his first-ever headlining tour on September 5th and 6th. He is an accomplished stand-up comic and actor, with appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens, and more.
General admission costs $22.89; however, students can access exclusive discount pricing on The Comedy Attic's website (https://www.comedyattic.com/sh...). The performance will begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening an hour earlier at 6pm. The Comedy Attic is located right next to the Indiana University campus at the corner of 4th & Walnut.
USAMA SIDDIQUEE
Usama Siddiquee is a Bengali-American stand-up comedian, writer, and actor based in New York City, originally from Dallas, Texas. In 2024, he made his late-night debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and his first half-hour comedy special dropped this year on YouTube via Don’t Tell Comedy. Most recently, he booked a supporting role in the upcoming Searchlight comedy Is This Thing On?, directed by Bradley Cooper and starring Will Arnett and a fun role in Best of the Best for Netflix, starring Hasan Minaj, Priyanka Kedia and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.
As an actor, Usama is known for his TV appearances on Netflix’s Inventing Anna and Survival of the Thickest, HBO’s And Just Like That, Comedy Central’s Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens, and FX’s Better Things. He was a semi-finalist on America’s Got Talent in 2020 and was named a New Face at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in 2018—the same year he was passed at the world-famous Comedy Cellar in New York.
His stand-up has also been featured on Showtime’s Desus & Mero, MTV News, and Bravo’s Cash Cab. Usama is currently gearing up for his first national headlining tour, set for Fall 2025.
