Fresh off its first Big Ten Championship since 1998, Indiana women’s golf earned a No. 9 seed in the East Lansing Regional on Wednesday for the 2024 NCAA DI women’s golf championships. The regional will take place May 6-8 at Forest Akers Golf Course in East Lansing, Michigan.

Indiana is one of three Big Ten teams in the regional, joining Big Ten Championships runner-up and regional host Michigan State, the No. 5 seed, and No. 2 seed Northwestern. The University of Southern California, ranked No. 6 in the nation, is the regional’s top seed.

The Hoosiers earned their spot in regionals thanks to an 11-stroke comeback in the final round of the Big Ten Championships on April 21. Fifth-year senior Caroline Craig tied as Big Ten Co-Champion with a 209, 7-under par score.

Barring unexpected changes, Indiana will likely stick with its same starting six from the conference championships. Craig, senior Dominika Burdova, redshirt junior Caroline Smith, redshirt sophomore Maddie May and sophomores Faith and Chloe Johnson headlined the title-winning card.
