College is so stressful sometimes you just need a little pick me up. I stumbled across this recipe a few months back when I was looking for a sweet treat. This simple recipe cures my sugar craving every time and can even be made in a dorm.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons of water
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flower
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips, or whatever your heart desires
  • Ice cream for topping, optional

Instructions:

In a small microwave-safe bowl or mug, add the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, water, vegetable oil, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir to combine.

Add the flour and stir until combined.

Add the chocolate chips and stir until combined.

Microwave for about 1 minute or until the center of the brownie is set to your desire.

All microwaves, bowls, and ingredients can vary, so experiment until you find exactly how you like your brownie to be done!

Top with any flavor of ice cream you’d like, grab a spoon and enjoy!
