The IU Police Department received a report of rape from the Office of Student Conduct on Thursday, according to an email from Deputy Chief Shannon Bunger.
A student reported to a professor they had been sexually assaulted on Feb. 7. The IUPD crime log listed the location of the rape as “all other campus buildings.” All known information was forwarded to the Office of Student Conduct.
The case is currently classified as inactive pending further information.
This is the ninth instance of rape or sexual assault reported to IUPD since the beginning of the spring 2022 semester.
