IU senior reported missing found, reunited with family

The IU senior who was reported missing Saturday spent the weekend in the Johnson County Jail in Franklin, Indiana, according to police records.

Jordan Vielee, 22, was booked into the jail before 1 a.m. Saturday, almost 16 hours before she was reported missing at 4 p.m. Saturday. After two days in jail, she was released at 6:30 a.m. Monday.

Her father James Vielee said she is now safe with her family.

"We found her,” he said Monday afternoon. “The important thing is that she's alive."

Vielee's boyfriend Logan Storey originally filed a missing person report for Vielee on Saturday with the Bloomington Police Department.

Her father filed a report with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department sometime between 3 and 6 p.m. Saturday as well.
