Transcription: Eighteen houses in two days

About 1700 girls visited 18 sororities last Saturday and Sunday. The rushees were divided into 18 groups, each starting at a different house. The parties lasted 20 minutes with a ten-minute break be-tween each one to give everyone a chance to catch her breath before the next one. Each group was directed by a Panhellenic Rush counselor. Coke parties begin Wednesday and last until Christmas. Each sorority sends out individual invitations to rushees for the parties. Each girl must reply to the sorority from which he receives an invitation. Roth freshmen and upperclassmen, a1:e rushed by the sororities. The rushees must have a 2.3 grade average for the semester preceding Formal Rush Week, which is in February.
