IU Health Bloomington plans changes in reporting structure

FROM IDS REPORTS

IU Health Bloomington will implement changes in its reporting structure, which could lead to the relocation of jobs within the next few years.

“Any changes in the number of jobs available in Bloomington will not be determined until about 2015 following the implementation of a couple of IT systems,” Amanda Roach, marketing and public relations manager, said in an email.

Roach said given the future environment of health care, IU Health is working proactively to manage and lessen expenses and become more efficient in the care its provides.

“We strive to best prepare our region to meet the healthcare needs of our communities in the coming years, while acknowledging that the larger healthcare landscape and reimbursement mix is changing,” Roach said. “Providing preeminent service that furthers our mission will always be a priority and our commitment to our communities remains unchanged.”
