Bob Heaton

Rep Heaton attended the University of Denver on a full athletic scholarship for basketball and studied business. After two years, he transferred to Indiana State University and played basketball for the Sycamores. He graduated with a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in marketing.

After college, he was hired as a financial representative for Northwestern Mutual in Terre Haute, then later he was hired by Forrest-Sherer Agency. He has been president of his own financial service venture, Heaton Financial Services in Terre Haute since 2003.
While representing District 46, he has served on four committees: financial institutions (vice chairman), insurance, natural resources and government and regulatory reform.
