While the City of Bloomington’s trick-or-treating hours this year will be limited to 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 31, several local events will allow tricksters to score free candy before Halloween night.
The Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Trick or Treat Trail, a treat-filled event featuring cartoon characters, is 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at RCA Community Park, 1400 W. RCA Park Drive, according to a press release.
Event admission is $4 per child. One adult admission is free with a paid children’s admission, and additional adult admissions are $2.
For more information about the event, contact the Bloomington Parks and
Recreation department at 812-349-3700, or visit its website at bloomington.in.gov/parks.
College Mall will present the event “Mall-o-ween,” the mall’s annual trick-or-treating night, from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 27, according to a press release.
Children can collect candy and prizes from participating mall retailers while supplies last. Participants are encouraged to check in at Simon Guest Services to receive a list of participating retailers, according to the release.
College Mall prohibits masks, hoods and law enforcement costumes on guests above the age of 12. Toy weapons will also be restricted on the mall’s
premises.
