Alumni celebrate Homecoming with Hoosier Village tailgate

The IU Alumni Association’s Hoosier Village tailgate area, located behind the south end zone scoreboard, attracted alumni in town for the Homecoming weekend.

Festivities began at 9 a.m. in preparation for the 12 p.m. kickoff and included food from local vendors, such as Kilroy’s BarN’Grill on Kirkwood, and a live broadcast of a pregame radio show on IU Football Radio Network, according to the alumni association’s website.

Hoosier Village will return three more times before the end of the football season: before the Oct. 13 Ohio State game, the Nov. 3 Iowa game and the Nov. 10 Wisconsin game. The village will open three hours before kickoff of each game.
