Lawyer offers reward for identities of sign thieves

A local attorney is offering a reward to identify the men caught on video stealing his office’s sign.

“I’m offering a $500 cash reward to the first person that can identify the two guys for me so I can pass that information along to the police,” said Matthew Lloyd, the owner of the law office.

The theft occurred at about 2:55 a.m. Sunday at the Lloyd Law Office at 625 N. Walnut St.

Lloyd said his sign was stolen during the summer and costs about $1,500 to replace.

After the first theft, Lloyd had security cameras installed and caught the alleged thieves on tape this time.

“Several people walked by while they were doing it over the course of about three minutes, so I’m hopeful that somebody ... knows something about it,” Lloyd said.
