The tornado watch for Monroe County has expired.
The National Weather Service had previously issued a tornado watch for Monroe County until 8 p.m. this evening.
The watch covered most of the area except for the southern portion of the state and parts of Illinois and Ohio. Damaging wind, hail and tornadoes are possible this afternoon.
