Packed with plenty of sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll, season four of “Californication” hits all of its usual chords.
A pending statutory rape lawsuit is not enough to keep Hank Moody (David
Duchovny) from sleeping his way through the women of Los Angeles. Moody
even manages to get himself caught between a mother and daughter and
involved with his own lawyer.
As his best friends get divorced, his daughter begins to distance
herself and his wife continues to slowly move away from his path of
self-destruction, Moody’s life seems to be evolving from its rather
stagnant state.
“Californication” seems to finally be moving past showing the constant
string of mistakes that continually stall Moody’s progress in life.
After receiving three years of probation instead of jail time for his
actions, maybe he will use this second chance to finally get his life,
and his family, back together.
Showtime comedy still red hot in fourth season
