Day 6: More than 250 people volunteer for Thursday evening's search for Lauren

Lauren

At the 5:30 p.m. search for Lauren Spierer on Thursday, Sophomore Meranda Prince and Edgewood High School seniors Kristina Chambers, Alyssa Mounce and Lacee Plemmons were instructed to look around the downtown area.

None of the girls knew Lauren but felt as though they should do their part in looking for her.

They were given new missing person fliers and were told to hand them out to people and hang the fliers in windows.

The four girls headed down South College Avenue and turned to walk down West Kirkwood Avenue.

Businesses were willing to post the fliers in the windows and keep some by the cash register. The girls were determined to post as many fliers as possible to get the word out about Lauren Spierer’s disappearance.
