Storm knocks out power, floods campus

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1 p.m. today for Bloomington, according to the National Weather Service. Indiana Avenue between Kirkwood Avenue and Sixth Street is flooded, along with much of Dunn Meadow near the same area, according to IU’s Twitter feed. Power is out on 10th Street from the 46 Bypass to Fee Lane. Campus buildings and traffic lights have been affected. Continue checking idsnews.com for updates.
