Photo gallery of adoptable children to be featured at Children's Museum

Adoptable children of Indianapolis are being given some face time.

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis launched its Heart Gallery exhibit on Tuesday.

Photographers’ candid portraits of adoptable children aim to spark interest in potential adoptive parents.

Contributing photographers volunteered their time and talents to capture the spirit and individuality of each child.

The exhibit is a joint venture between the museum and the Indiana Department of Child Services to promote the adoption of children in need of families.

During the exhibit, James W. Payne, director of the department of child services, and Lisa Townsend, vice president of marketing for the museum, will be available for more information about the exhibit and its impacts on Indiana families looking to adopt.
