Police called to Monroe Reservoir for reports of body

The Monroe County Sheriff’s office is investigating an incident that occurred at the Monroe Reservoir dam today.

Police were called because of a reported body that was found at about 3 p.m. It was also reported that a man with a gun was near the body.

Officers at the scene could not confirm anything, only to say that the immediate situation was resolved and more details would be released at a later time.
