The Shalom Community Center announced today that it is in urgent need for warm winter clothing for men, women, and children who are homeless.
The most needed items are hats, gloves, socks, and thermal underwear, according to the Center’s press release.
Other items such as cold weather sleeping bags continue to be needed throughout the season.
People may drop off donated items at the Center’s new facility at 620 South Walnut Street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
