City renting out garden plots

The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is renting out plots in two community gardens to those who are interested. The Parks and Recreation Department will provide the advice of a garden supervisor and services for the renters, including water sources, composting facilities and access to tools. Organic and regular plots are available. The plots can be used from April 1 to October 31.

Willie Streeter Community Gardens
Where Winslow Woods Park,  2120 S. Highland Ave.
Cost for Bloomington residents $26-$52
Cost for non-residents $31-$60

Crestmont Community Gardens
Where Crestmont Park, 600 W. 16th St.
Cost for Bloomington residents $10
Cost of non-residents $12
