Two ways to take it

From hypnotizing guitar riffs and anticipation-gathering drum beats to ballad-heavy lyrics, Creed has brought it all to its new album “Full Circle.”

It took seven years for this group to come together again, and perhaps surprisingly, the album is definitely different from past efforts.

For Creed fans, “Full Circle” will create two responses: Some will absolutely love this album and others will end up feeling cheated. 

Some fans might be let down by the different sound style and the fact that the message is mostly one of redemption and change, but others might find the new feel refreshing and endearing. It’s gooey in an emotional way, but it’s a nice listen when you feel like you have a weight on your shoulders.

Even though it’s entirely possible to hear these songs as background noise, when you listen to the words, a whole new picture is painted.
