Online voting opens for board of trustees

The University released the online ballots for the alumni representative to the 2009 IU board of trustees.

Ballots will be counted June 30.

This is the second year that online voting has been available to IU alumni, and those alumni who have registered to vote online no longer receive paper ballots in the mail. Paper ballots will be mailed to remaining IU graduates in May and to new graduates in late May.

IU alumni elect three of the nine members for the IU board of trustees. The trustees that are selected serve a three-year term. Gov. Mitch Daniels will appoint the remaining trustees.
