Indiana State Police arrested Bloomington residents Billy McAuley, 45, Richard Moore, 32, Shane Robertson, 27, and Michael Walker, 37, early Thursday morning for manufacturing methamphetamines.
At approximately 1:00 a.m., Indiana State Troopers of the Meth Suppression Section arrived at 9108 West State Road 45 to serve a search warrant issued by the Monroe Circuit Court, according to a police statement. While searching the home, which belongs to Walker, police discovered materials commonly used to make methamphetamines.
Public Information Officer Curt Durnil said a certain amount of intelligence has to be gathered and submitted to a judge before a search warrant can be issued.
Durnil said that meth labs have been a constant problem in the Bloomington community.
“It just doesn’t seem to go away,” he said. “We focus on these people 24/7, 365 days a year.”
