IUSA ticket to kick off campaign with call-out

The ONE University ticket, the newest contender in the IU Student Association elections, is having a call-out meeting from 7:30 to 9 p.m. today in the Dogwood Room in the Indiana Memorial Union.

The call-out meeting is for anyone interested in volunteering with ONE University’s campaign.

The platform issues the ticket is focusing on include student rights, technology and facilities, community service, sustainability, and transparency and accountability, said second-year law student Ben Blair, candidate for IUSA president.

The ticket wants to work with the Bloomington Faculty Council to ensure professors use all of the tools available on Oncourse, Blair said.

ONE University also wants to make the class registration process more self-sufficient by making course descriptions, course evaluations, full course grade distributions and class evaluations readily available to students, Blair said.

“We want to make the entire process self-contained,” Blair said.
