A Bloomington man was arrested Sunday afternoon after assaulting his wife at Wal-Mart with her purse.
Floyd Thomas Davis, 33, faces preliminary charges of domestic battery, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Jeff Canada said, reading from a police report.
Davis and his wife said they began yelling at each other, but both deny that any assault took place. Video surveillance from the store shows Davis took his wife’s purse and struck her with it multiple times, Canada said.
Davis’ wife also showed some redness around the neck and video confirms Davis grabbed her by the neck, Canada said.
