Take away foulmouth fans’ tickets

I would be interested in knowing the demographic makeup of the current student ticket holders who blatantly display their ignorance by their vulgar chants at our basketball games. Most students from the state of Indiana have grown up loving basketball and are proud followers of their teams, win or lose. Hoosier fans never single out a player for ridicule or hateful chants. We view our team as a family, of which the fans are distant relatives. When folks like you show disrespect for one of ours, we get upset.\nIt is only recently that ticket holders (they don’t deserve to be called fans) in one particular section of Assembly Hall have collectively shown us: “Hey, look at me! See how rude, crude and vulgar I can be!” We see you, and we don’t like what we see or hear. If I had my way your tickets would be confiscated and you would never set foot in Assembly Hall again. We don’t need trash in the seats.
