Stand up and dance!

On Oct. 19, I drove 800-plus miles to see Bob Dylan play at my alma mater. I went to many concerts at the auditorium in my day (Bright Eyes and OAR come to mind). Now the security that IU hires is by far the most strict security I have seen at any show, ANYWHERE! They hurt the environment that a concert normally creates. During Bright Eyes back in 2005, I remember Conor (Oberst) saying to try and have a good time, even though security wouldn’t let people even STAND UP and DANCE! \nIt’s about time someone said this, and hopefully something gets done to fix this pathetic excuse for security at future IU concerts.\nBen Brodsky\nIU alumnus
