Man reports being robbed, beaten by 3 men Wednesday\nA man walking on North Madison St., Wednesday, was grabbed by three males and taken to a gravel lot where he was beaten up and his money was taken.\nNo one witnessed the event, Bloomington Police Detective Sergeant Jeff Canada said, reading from a police report. Canada said the victim had injuries to his face, but no injuries indicating a punch to the face. The man, who is 20 years-old, came to the police about two hours after the incident occurred.

Counterfeit bill attempt at Kroger, State Farm\nAt 9 a.m. on Thursday, a man tried to make change for a $100 counterfeit bill at State Farm, 3375 S. Walnut St. Previously, the man attempted to cash the bill at a Kroger grocery store, Canada said reading from a police report.\nOfficers came in contact with the man who said he received two $100 bills from a man he did lawn service for. The man also told police he tried to go to Kroger and State Farm but was told the bill was a counterfeit. The bill was not confiscated, which is something usually done, Canada said. \nOfficers plan to follow up with the situation, Canada said.
