Man arrested after chasing roommate

A 21-year-old man was accused of chasing his roommate around their apartment, 303 E. 10th St., intimidating him with scissors after an argument, said Bloomington police Sgt. Faron Lake, reading from the police report. \nSean Cox, who was arrested and charged with the intimidation with a deadly weapon, grabbed scissors and began to chase after his roommate when an argument began, according to the police report. \nPolice received a complaint at 1:29 a.m. Sunday. Nobody was injured in the incident, Lake said.

Woman accused of stealing $571 worth of clothing

About $571 worth of clothing was stolen from Kohl’s clothing store Saturday, said Bloomington police Sgt. Faron Lake, reading from a police report.\nAt about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, a 21-year-old woman went into the Kohl’s location on 3140 Whitehall Crossing Blvd.\nFor one hour, Kasi Burns stashed away clothing before going into a dressing room to take off all the tags, Lake said.\nStore employees told police that Burns carried a baby during the incident, Lake said.\nAs Burns tried to leave the store with the clothing, she was caught and followed by Kohl’s security, who phoned the police. \nLake said about six to eight people a week are arrested from Kohl’s because of the strict security policy the store uses.
