Coppersmithing 'sensual' at SoFA Tuesday

\nWHEN: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday\nWHERE: School of Fine Arts main building, Room 238\nMORE INFORMATION: Michele Feder-Nadoff, internationally known artist and artistic director of the Cuentos Foundation of Chicago, will speak about her work and show the documentary she filmed and produced while apprenticing with the Coppersmiths of Santa Clara del Cobre, Mexico. Michele Feder-Nadoff's documentary "Huele de Noche/Night-Blooming Jasmine" will last 33 minutes and be followed by the artist talking about and giving a slide presentation of her artwork.

Artists After Hours' workshop\nexplores creativity

Walnut St.\nMORE INFORMATION: Part II of Exploring Creativity will feature Ladi Terry, Creative Problem Solving trainer and facilitator with more than 15 years experience in the field of creativity who received a master's degree in creativity and change leadership from Buffalo State College in Buffalo, N.Y., in 2005. Ladi will offer a look at what creativity is, how the creative process works and how to apply the inner wisdom artists and innovators are born with to everyday challenges. Using improvisation, participants will unite body and mind in a playful way to address life challenges. Steven Smith conducts free orchestra event

\nWHEN: 8 p.m. Wednesday\nWHERE: Musical Arts Center\nMORE INFORMATION: Copland's Appalachian Spring Suite and Beethoven's Symphony No. 3 in E-Flat Major, op. 55 "Eroica" are among works to be performed. Admission is free.

Buskirk Concert series presents Harmonious Wail

\nWHEN: 8 p.m. Thursday\nWHERE: Buskirk-Chumley Theater, 114 E. Kirkwood Ave.\nMORE INFORMATION: Harmonious Wail draws from the rich influence of the European gypsy musicians, most notably Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli who, from the 1930s on, created and developed what came to be known as Gypsy Swing. What sets the Wail apart from other talent in this growing genre are the sultry vocals and stunning mandolin work. General admission tickets are free for Buskirk-Chumley members and $10 for nonmembers. Orchestra seeks to interact with \naudiences Friday

High St.\nMORE INFORMATION: The Bloomington Symphony Orchestra will perform its premier concert of its 37th season with Music Director Chris Ludwa.\nAudience members to Bloomington Symphony Orchestra concerts this season will be invited to "interact" with the orchestra, via preconcert talks and concert activities.\nTickets may be purchased at the door, online at www.bloomingtonArts.info, or from the Sunrise Box Office, 114 E.
